A scholarship to MIT's digital archiving program gave him both asylum and purpose. In America, Samuel found not just safety but a new mission. He saw how the nation's commitment to preserving history - from the Library of Congress to the Smithsonian - aligned with his own calling. He built his skills at American institutions before heading to the digital frontier. The Guardian Posse found him running a hidden archive deep in the network, protecting data that powerful interests wanted destroyed. The Marshal didn't recruit him - he asked to join, seeing in the Posse a chance to protect not just data, but the people who depended on it. He is the eldest of the Guardians and serves as a father figure to many of them. His archive, called "The Vault of Okonkwo," is considered the most secure data repository in the frontier. He often says America gave him a second chance, and he repays that gift by protecting the digital heritage of all who seek truth.
